1. What materials does your jewelry consist of?
All of our rings and earrings are made from solid 925 sterling silver and plated with 18k gold. Our necklaces and bracelets are crafted from brass, plated in either 925 sterling silver or 18k gold, depending on the color variant. You can always find the specific material listed in the product description.
2. Are your jewelry pieces nickel-free?
Yes! All of our items are nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
3. How do I take care of my jewelry?
We recommend cleaning your jewelry with a soft cloth when needed. Avoid bending it to prevent oxidation, and try to keep it away from oils, lotions, and perfumes. For full care instructions, please refer to our Care Guide.
4. How do I take care of my leather pieces?
Proper care will ensure your leather goods last a lifetime. All LIÉ LEATHER products are designed in Copenhagen and handcrafted in Portugal from 100% Italian cow leather. For detailed care instructions, please see our Care Guide.
5. Can I shower with my jewelry?
We advise against showering with your jewelry on, especially gold-plated jewelry, as water can gradually cause the gold layer to wear off.
6. How long does gold-plated jewelry last?
The lifespan of gold-plated jewelry depends on how often you wear it and how you care for it. To prolong its life, avoid contact with water, lotions, perfumes, and other chemicals. Always remove jewelry before showering or washing your hands. Store your pieces in a dry place, wrapped in cotton or paper, away from sunlight and moisture. Please note that all surface treatments and platings naturally wear over time.
7. An item I bought is defective. What should I do?
If you've received a defective item, please email us at hello@lie-studio.com or submit a claim through our return portal along with a photo of the item. We’ll review your request and get back to you as soon as possible.
8. Can I use perfume and moisturizers while wearing your jewelry?
We recommend applying perfume to your clothes and allowing moisturizer to fully absorb before wearing your jewelry, as these substances can affect the longevity of the gold plating.
9. How can I place an order?
Select the product(s) you'd like by clicking “Add to cart.” You can continue shopping or proceed to checkout. At checkout, fill in your contact and shipping details, choose your preferred delivery method, and enter your payment information. Confirm your billing address and place your order.
10. Why can’t I add certain products to my shopping cart?
If you’re unable to add a product to your cart, it means the item is sold out. Feel free to email us at hello@lie-studio.com, and we’ll let you know when it’s back in stock.
11. How can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number. Deliveries are made via GLS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL. For questions, please contact us at hello@lie-studio.com.
12. How do I know if my order has been received and is being processed?
You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order has been placed, confirming that we’ve received it and are processing it.
13. How do I use a discount code?
Enter your discount code during checkout in the designated field and click “Apply.”
14. I placed the wrong order - what should I do?
If you placed an incorrect order, please email us at hello@lie-studio.com as soon as possible. If your order hasn't been packed yet, we’ll cancel it for you. If it has already been processed, you’ll need to wait until it arrives and return it.
15. What payment options do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, UnionPay, Shop Pay, MobilePay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.
16. Can I return an item for an exchange instead of a refund?
Yes, you can request a size exchange via our Return Portal. You’re also welcome to visit our store at Vognmagergade 9 for both product and size exchanges.
17. Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we offer worldwide shipping. If you have specific questions regarding delivery to your country, feel free to contact us.
18. My order hasn’t arrived yet - can you help?
Absolutely. Please email us at hello@lie-studio.com with your order number, and we’ll track the shipment for you.
19. Should I expect to pay VAT, taxes, or other fees when placing an order?
All listed prices and delivery costs within the EU include VAT and any applicable fees. For orders shipped outside the EU, additional local taxes or import duties may apply. We ship with duties and taxes paid to the UK and South Korea. Orders below 800$ are free of import duties in the US.
20. How do I return my order?
All returns - including exchanges, claims, and refunds - must be initiated through our Return Portal. Once approved, you will receive a return shipping label and return slip. You'll also receive a return invoice if you're returning from outside the EU.
21. I returned my order but haven’t received a refund yet – what should I do?
Refunds are processed within 14 business days of receiving your return. The refund will be issued to your original payment method, excluding shipping costs (unless the return is due to a claim). If you haven’t received your refund after this time, please contact us.
22. How long before I can expect to see my refund in my bank account?
We issue refunds within 14 days after receiving your return parcel. Depending on your bank, it may take a few more days before the refund appears in your account.
23. What is your return policy?
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your item(s). Products must be returned in their original condition. All returns must be registered through our Return Portal. You will receive your refund once we have received and assessed the returned product(s).
