We’ve been living in Williamsburg for the last 6 months, which we think is the greatest neighborhood in the city, but we might be biased ;) Endless strolls along the east river, watching the sun set over Manhattan is never a bad view. For anyone visiting the city, fall is an amazing time of the year, watching the leaves change color. The photo on the right was taken in Central Park in October.

Located in an old dining car you’ll find our go-to local spot, Diner in Williamsburg. The best service, the nicest atmosphere. Great for brunch, a burger or just a casual drink at the bar. Another favorite spot of ours is LEO on Havemeyer St. In the weekends they serve the
best bagels we have ever tasted! But be early - they often sell out!

No guide to NYC without our favorite thrift shops and vintage boutiques. Some honroable mentions include, Beacon’s closet, Mirth, Seven Wonders Collective, Awoke Vintage, Desert Vintage. Some of these mentionings even have a couple of stores, so lots of thrifting to do!

A sunday favorite of ours is visiting McCarren Park. In the weekends it’s filled with kids playing football, people running track, dogs playing and families shopping groceries at the farmers market. On the lower east side you’ll find Le Dive. It’s always a fun place to get a drink and do some people watching - especially in the summer when the whole square outside is buzzing.

Another local favorite spot of ours is the little deli Marlow and Daughters where they bake Ryebread (a danish specialty). But we also frequently visit Marlow & Sons next door for a drink or beer after work. We swear they make the best Negroni’s. A New York slice? Our best recommendation, L’industrie Pizzeria! Their buratta slice will be missed!

We have had the most amazing 6 months in the city, and this guide could probably have been 10x as long. So do let us now if you enjoyed it, and we might do another guide to NYC in the near future ;)
