BTS From Our New York Spring Campaign
The New York Spring Drop, our latest-launched collection, was shot in New York November 2022. We were so lucky to be able to shoot with Arda, the amazing photographer who has shot all of our campaigns so far, so the entire team were almost there.
Shooting our first campaign in New York for our own brand was genuinely a dream coming true! While living here, we had so many deliberations and ideas on how the look of this campaign should be. Since the collection was inspired by 1920s New York, known for its ostentatious, glittering, and feminine fashion, we wanted to capture this in terms of the location, styling and look of the images.
Luckily we had Ulrikke and Klara out scouting for locations, while we were prepping the styling. During the shoot we were based at an office next to wallstreet, so in between outfit changes, we could easily go back and look through the images as well.
One thing we for sure also enjoyed about shooting in New York, was the excitement and kindness we were met with by other people. We met this friendly guy who allowed us to use his “office” as an accessory for the shoot, while offering us free coffee.
New York is famous for being the heart of cute dogs. Therefore, we had to include one in some of the images. Luckily, we met a sweet couple and the dog “Oreo” who joined Cecilie for a little walk.
